Car idles then stall's 3.0 v6

As above. All the vac pipes are in the correct places. No air leaks except for the rear actuator pipe broken but glued back. Adjusted the throttle cable to increase the idle to 1000rpm and now it doesn't stall. Dose this point to the idle valve or something else? I am now starting to get fed up with the stalling and need it sorting out. Please help.

I'd say you need to check out the idle control valve. This is where the engine should get its' idle air from so it's the prime suspect I'd say.

It's worth doing a paperclip check and seeing if you've got any stored fault codes.

if it idles for a while then seemingly randomly cuts out - possible crank sensor failure as that's exactly what happened on mine ...

code one is 19

Change the crank sensor.

code two is 74

Check and clean the cable connector to the MAF sensor.

Follow the air trunking out of the air filter and its the second lead down, after
the air temp sensor.

Well we have replaced the crankshaft sensor and the stalling has stopped also cleaned up the MAF sensor which has removed the 74 fault code.

The crank shaft fault code 19 still remains without EML light and the car will not rev over 3500 and accerleration over this point is very juddery and noisy. Up till the 3500 mark seems to be ok and running quite smooth.

Any thoughts greatly apprieciated

19 - replace crank sensor, ignore 74 until crank sensor replaced, as ECU often throws up MAF faults when other faults present.
