Sep 2007 at 17:35 Oh and the sluggishness could be because the multi-rams aren't working properly. If you have a search for "multiram" or "multi ram" there should be a guide somewhere that tells you how to test it.

I would hope they are compitent enough to know what engine they fitted!

If yours is an auto, and they bolted on a 3.0l.... ....oh dear....

What makes you think it is a 3.0l then?

Sep 2007 at 23:14 Dont know just for some reason i thought it was a 3.0 mine is a manual, I just wondered if there was the engine number stamped somewhere plus feels quite quick for a 2.5 my dads vectra 2.5 gsi was not as quick as this and mine has a drivers exhaust manifold blowing and is feeling sluggish.

Not aware of any database that allows looking up of engine number to find type. On the diesels, there is a sticker, very conveniently put right at back so only visible with engine out. Not aware of any such sticker on petrol models.

I have seen a sticker on the right side of camcover on some though Undecided
