Alarm problem
14. Nov 2007 at 00:07

I have recently purchased a 2.5 CD V reg '99 with 71,000 miles on the clock for a bargain price of £600 from ebay. The thing is nearly mint!  Thumbs Up!Great, but the only problem I have is when I go through a car wash or it's raining, the alarm goes off. There are no flashing lights though...just the sound. Any ideas anyone!!?? Huh

Howdoo Ian, welcome to the forum.

Better to post your query in the tech help or ICE/electrical section as not everyone looks in here, unfortunately.....

Sounds like a short of some sort though, getting made when water gets into somethign somewhere, but you sussed that yourself already, didn't you....   Wink   Grin

ps - when you get a minute, update your profile with car/engine size and location to save others asking what/where you are....   Thumbs Up!
