Hi all. Like many others I've visited this forum many times and have decided to join.

My current car is a 1997 Omega Elite 3.0 litre V6 auto estate which I have had for three years. It was an insurance write off which needed mainly cosmetic repair at the front and a bit more work on the rear. It is a fantastic car and other than the aforementioned work has needed little work other than a new coil pack. Previously I have owned 5 carltons. Although I am aware that the market value of my present car is very low, I am contemplating having the engine overhauled next year. It probably needs a new timing belt.

I like to think I am a sensible driver the majority of the time but that sport mode button can be a tempting mistress.

I'm off to post now.
