Hello
27. Dec 2007 at 19:35

Hi,

Just found this great looking Omega forum.  Thumbs Up!

I own a prefacelift W-reg 3.0 MV6 with irmscher body kit and exhaust. I've had it about a year and only just found this forum!

One thing I'm interested to know is can the V6 do high mileage? Never seen one with more than about 160K that didn't say it had a replacement engine.

Seasons greetings,

Chris

SmileyWelcome aboard Chris. If looked after a 6 could double that. What's a "replacement engine" It could be ripped out of a 300,000 taxi after being sat in a breakers yard for a year or two.
160k isn't high for a Mig. Thumbs Up!

many cases of cars having replacement engines is due to many owners not replacing cam belt kit at the correct milage intervals. 40,000 or 4 years.or garages miss diagnosing head gasket failure when it is the oil cooler. welcome to the forum.
