Hi guys.

I own a facelift V6 Elite and have done for over 3 years. I love it! Every time I climb into it i'm happy. It's getting to the time when I will need to change, in fact it's past time really, I just can't find anything I like as much.

God knows why the stopped making them. According to Vauxhall the day of the big saloon had passed in their volume market. Then they point to the Signum; mmm it's OK I guess but it's not an Omega. Then they make the Vectra bigger!

I look after it like a baby. Every job that's needed gets done. Everything works exactly as it should (apart from an annoying but small problem with the sound system volume/balance control, but the steering wheel control is fine). It drives like the day it was new. The interior and exterior are superb. It looks like new. Then they offer me £1,500 in part exchange, rapidly raising it to £1,600 when they saw my expression. That was the point at which I turned on my heel and strode out of the dealership without another word.

Ho-hum.

Big D.
