Can anyone help my 2000 2.0 autos remote central locking has stopped working i changed the battery in the key and its still not working.It locks fine when i use the key in the door though just not the remote and the button for the boot release on the key wont work either

Put the key in the ignition, switch to "On" but don't start the car.. press the "lock" button on the fob - central locking should close, press the "unlock" button, should all open.

If this works you SHOULD have resynced the key to the locks, and it should work normally.
