Consider getting the one you have repaired.....try these fine people:

http://ecu-testing.com/contact_us.html

I gather they're more for ECU's. My gut instinct is that it'll be the pump Sad

My money is on the EDU bolted to the top of the pump......was there not one on the old pump you took off that you can try?

EDU standing for what exactly? Someone had already been having a play with the top of the pump before I got to it. I'd considered having a play at frigging something ... (I wasn't too sure what  Huh Wink) but when I removed the top I discovered the ribbon cable in there was also ripped. At that stage I decided to look for another pump. Isn't hindsite wonderful?
Any suggestions about frigging it though Mark would be most gratefull.  Roll Eyes

No way to frigg it.

The EDU is the pump controller, this engine is a piston pump with full ECU control and the EDU is the pump interface module.

The company listed do repair the EDU's

Wrong engine I think. Mine's a 17DTL single cam GM engine, I'm sure that the DTI is the twin cam engine - both listings refer to the Izusu enggine. You reckon it's the ECU or the actula fuel injection pump? Going off what I could find re the fault code I'd pretty much assumed it was the pump, but I'll love to be shown I was wrong. Wink My ECU is quite a long afair that lives under the passenger front wing.
