Now I'm 60 next year so could probably do with one Cry, although I can still get under the CDX, albeit with a lot of grunts and groans.  Angry

But seriously, I've got an X reg 2.5 V6 CDX. So what have I got?

Anything 2000 'W' and later is a facelift. There were some 'W' reg pre-facelifts.

As Andy has said, a facelift....

Facelift cars can be established by the following:

Colour coded body strips
Grille incorperated into bonnet
smooth rear bootlid with only a grab handle, no lock
Different rear lights
Different bumpers
Interior changed including the centre console, as standard the facelift card have a double din stereo (CDX should have had the 4 disc multiplayer unit)
Different centre console and door trims

Lots of little changes that separated the cars

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Being X-Reg. you should hang on to it. From Y-Reg onwards, the VED is £400+..... Sad

CDX is nice (I had one) as it has a sunroof, heated front seats, and HID Xenon lights. It also have a combo cassette / CD player with built-in 4-CD changer - brilliant.

The engine is the one-before-last model, because from Y-Reg onwards they are all 2.6 and 3.2 instead of 2.5 and 3.0, with much more electronics and much less mechanics, but otherwise essentially very similar.

Enjoy... I did. Smiley
