What screen res do you guys all use? I'm developing a little website, and just wondered what the general target audience will be. Considering developing for 1024/768?

Most sites used to be done in 800 x 600 but I reckon 1024 x 768 covers 95% of users these days.

My current screen is 1280 x 1024. (edited)

My Lappy is 1600 x 1200

1900x1200

I think 1280x1024 is a good starting point though.

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Most common screen size currently is 1024 x 768 - some few are still using 800 x 600.  Should target current common size & check if ok at 800 x 600 and bigger sizes Thumbs Up!

Its pretty safe to develop sites for 1024 x 768.  Very few are smaller now. Many that ware bigger tend not to get run full screen.
