Oct 2008 at 18:26 Popped the new spark plugs in and sent my 2.2 down for its MOT. Passed, no advisories! mechanic said it was spot on Was surprised cause i know the rear handbrake is not holding on the drivers side. I will give it a treat tomorrow with some fresh oil

Cover it in WD40 now, if its the original. Mine was a bugger to remove.

You'd better off covering it in a penetrating oil! ie Easit. Plus gas etc etc WD40 is a water displacer .... hence the name! Roll Eyes

If you leave that much longer, rather than it being a simple and cheap job, it will be a blank, and expensive.
