Hi,

My battery went flat on my Elite on Tuesday so I locked it using the central locking and I think I blipped the button twice on the remote for the dead locking.  Now te remote won't unock the car and I can't seem to turn the key in the door lock.  Any ideas???

Yeah I've tried turnig the key in the lock and it win t turn in any direction at all.

IIRC - you can only do the boot light trick on pre facelift Omegas.

Assuming you can't open the boot cos your car is a facelift, and you don't dare force the key any harder (My preface lift car was dead locked when the battery went completely falt & there was no way it was going to open via the key ) you also have the option of connecting 12volts to the starter motor and then remote unlocking your car. You'll probably have to jack the front corner up a little so you can get under.
