To check if its suitable you have to look at the number of the ECU,on the side of the unit. Last 3 digits should match the chip Cheers, Iain

Apr 2009 at 22:15 Hello again, I've checked my ECU it says 0281 001 427 ( Bosch) so i'm thinking it's compatible ? If so how do you want to process the transaction? (Please bear in mind i'm more comfortable under the bonnet than in front of the PC !!! ) Regards

May 2009 at 09:20 Hi, It should fit no problems, however, you might need to get the chip thats fitted de-soldered and the new one soldered in, only some ECU's let you pull and push fit. Yup, thats a 427 Thumbs Up!

See my guide in Maintenence Guides, check that yours is socketed, else you need to get a socket fitted.

If you are going to kick a car, remember to wear appropriate footwear
