Full on LED from what I read of the specs Martin.

No definately an LCD panel with LED backlights, some advantages and some disadvantages compared to CFL.

BTW Samsung and Sony have a shared panel line and the 40" and 46" TVs will have the same panel, but different electronics, backlight ect

Ive Got The Sony KDL W4000 LCD with a PS3 on it works very well!

whats the difference between the 45 & 4000 martin?

i got my TV through sainsburys by redeaming £200's worth of nectra vouchers against it Cheesy an £800 tv for £600 very good i thought considering it had a Sony 5yr extended warrenty in the box aswell
