Audi A6, what are they like?
21. May 2009 at 20:50

Been looking for an Omega estate but have found one or two nice Audi A6 avant 2.5 TDI quattro's for sale and just want to know if any body has had one or knows anything about them i.e faults, weak points, good points etc etc Smiley

fairly bullet proof engines i think, but expensive when they go wrong!

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

High snob value, expensive parts and some reports of uncomfortable seating for driver,  pedals and seat not lining up or something like that, more noticeable for "larger" people.

I've heard the Q8 tyres are specific to it and cost a small fortune for a rediculously short mileage life.

Anyone know if this is correct ?

Last Audi I drove was at D reg and I thought it was crap - prefered the 1.8 Cavaliers, my favourite cars at the time were the 2.0 Carltons

I used to deliver cars for a Vauxhall dealer
