Swinton are a broker HSBC are an underwriter (Insurer) so Swintoin basically introduce clients to a panel of underwriters and charge you for doing it! (Middlemen basically)

As long as she is insured you've nowt to worry about.

there are not many 'real' insurers, most the companies are underwritten by just a few.

the solicitors called and said it may take a few months for the claim to pay out looking around christmas
they said if i let the insurance's sort it then they maybe just offer me £1500 or nothing at all
if i let these solicitors sort it the minimum i will get is £1500 and it will be more

do you think i should wait or get in touch with the insurance first before i sign the forms to let the solicitors take it over for me
