Trouble is vamps you can hear them from miles away and they leave little to the imagination when you get a bit closer;)

The armoured saloon vehicle was the most reasonable way of getting into and out of a flagged area without advertising your presence too much Wink

Yep you're right enough there Kevin. Strangely enough, away from the urban environment - in terms of personnel protection, overall practicality and reliability, the Landcruiser kicks the LR's ass.

LR's were used in the UK theatre, in the civilian application, as a result of so much military inventory being available. That's not to denigrate the margue. The LR in all of it's guises was more than up to the task. Thumbs Up!

Saved many lives Wink

And still does Thumbs Up!
