the block has at last got some peace......
its taken 3 years to resolve and no thanks to the housing association the neighbour scum has been relocated. (yes.... to a big house with a nice garden in a quiet area)
problems we encountered-
1) as the couple had 2 small kids the h.a were loathed to evict them unless they either murdered a passerby or were running a drug growing operation.
'normal shouting and screaming with doors constantly slamming at all hours is acceptable'
2) as they had been reported for anti social behavior they dropped a band to be rehoused.
so even though we reported them we had to put up with them further.
3) the complainers had to gather ALL the evidence. but are unable to use any of their own equipment, and very little gets taken into account as they have a right to be noisy by lifestyle !!!!!
4) and now that the h.a have rehoused them they cannot guarantee anyone who they move in.
so i may get in another young couple who also like loud music, slamming doors, shouting and screaming, letting their kids do whatever they want and constantly park their heaps in front of peoples garages !!
i thought buying my place was a good thing but it seems now there are no guarantees from the H.A as to my peace and quiet.
so whats good for one is good for the other, diy jobs 24/7 here i come........

it sounds like bad neighbours are the 'norm' nowadays we are surrounded by them, when one lot quietens down another lot starts up..... only 2 years to go before i can sell up.......
