I didn't get the bike out today, instead gave it a bloody good service!

Oil change
Chain cleaned, lubed, and tensioned up properly
Aligned the wheels
Cleaned up and adjusted the brakes
Spark plug (after swearing at Halfords for not stocking an 18mm long socket :| )
Stripped and cleaned out the carb
Checked the valve clearance but didn't have to alter it as they were still in tolerance

And a damn good clean!

Hopefully if the weather is as nice tomorrow, I might just go for a blat around the west coast of Wales Cool

Plans are set (in theory) but may change once I get that magical 'A' category added to my licence

May 2009 at 08:14 Having a great weekend BBQ in the sunshine on Saturday, watched F1 yesterday and relaxed in the garden. Did a bit of gardening and cut the lawn. Perfect weekend hopefully set to continue today.....taking our 2yr old to the Ferrari dealer then the Mini dealer then Toys R Us.....he will think its his birthday !!!!

I had to work last weekend, usually with on-call its about 20 mins work over the entire weekend, but last time, it was 12 hours Cry

That said i did not mind, 1) Bosses were pleased with me 2) extra pay was nice 3) shows i can handle commercial aspects as well as technical.

I want to expand my commercial skills, as it gives me greater flexibility.
