had the AA round as the car wouldn't start (facelift 2.5 CDX W reg) Engine management light wouldn't go out but eventually did and  then the car started. He suspects the crank sensor any clues as he couldn't read the fault codes at all.

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

and yes sounds like crank sensor, which is a code 19. do a paper clip test.
