Motorbike
27. May 2009 at 08:16

Well for the first time this year I have ridden the bike to work. Great feeling to have the thumper between my legs again, oh errr that sounds wrong.  Grin

Took it nice and steady as bike been mothballed all winter. but it all went well.

Have to admit on the safety side I actually forgot to put my boots on  Shocked and rode in trainers ! but it won't happen again.

i have thought about taking the bike to the train station, i would save over £130 a month easy, trouble is i would have to wear all my gear on the train, no storage at the station itself.

I then cycle from London Marylebone to Covent Garden, and i don't want to do it in bike gear.

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Rain going home if preferable by far to rain going to work.

Have a shower when you get in and you will feel exonerated.

P.S. Don't forget to dry your clothes for the trip in tomorrow though! Wink

Don't want a top box, think they look awful on my bike.

Don't need a motorbike in London, pedal power is more than enough and actually faster!

Might get a small tail pack that goes over the pillion seat though.

Great tip  Thumbs Up! it would not be the first time I have had to put on wet gear in the morning.

Was actually reasonably lucky, just a few spots coming down, got wetter from the puddles.

Not possible - had a similar argument with a neighbour who thought mopeds were quickest, I proved my answer.

Middleweight bikes are quickest in town, small enough for manouvability and big enough to be quick.
