If you really want/need to use a stabiliser, what about an Al-ko hitch type that clamp onto the ball?
I've towed a caravan miles without any kind of stabiliser, it's only cos this 'van came with an Al-ko that I now use one. Thumbs Up!

How much????  Shocked IMHO you'd be better off putting that money towards an Al-ko type.

Just use it for peace of mind really... I'm not too bothered but if anyone else needs to tow the van (due to some unfortunate accident Roll Eyes Roll Eyes) then it may help them. I've towed the current one both with and without and TBH the biggest improvement is in the pitching of it as I live in an area where it seems impossible to surface a road smoothly Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I can't have an Al-Ko one without a bit of a headache as I also tow other trailers, including hired ones like this weekend when I'll be towing both the Van and a hired Trailer in quick succession, which have greased couplings Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!
