Been quite a nice day. Went to watch the grass track racing - boy, was it dusty! Shocked While there, saw some "diesel p0rn" going past on the Watercress line, for those who like such things. ("Diesel Gala" this weekend).

Popped in to see the in-laws then back to chuck a lamb joint in the kettle barbecue. Quick whip round with the lawn mower while it was cooking then sat eating it out in the garden in shorts and a tea shirt. Only just come in.

Oh, gave the LPG system a tweak and fitted some exhaust trims to my Eternal system at last.

Had a day sorting things out having returned from a weeks holiday (mow lawn, shopping etc).

Managed also to get a few hours over at the heritage centre working on 47292. Completed some more of the vaccum braking setup which leaves only wiring to sort out.

Channeling out walls, laying tubing for electrics.

Trying to keep a pair of swallows out. Plenty of places for them to build but Oh no it has got to be the end room upstairs. I feel a bit bad about it but they are just going to have to live with it.

Not to bad.

We were in the radiator cabin so had a shed load of coolant above our heads and with the engine room doors and cab doors open the breeze was ok.

The team operating the steam loco were suffering badly though!
