There were a few at Tatton today. There was even a drop head 2 door Shocked

It had some kind of tubular T bar roof and looked to have had the wheel base shortened somewhere behind the doors. Huh

They were indeed Pete, they were much loved in the Met. I always fancied the Vanden Plas in that lovely dark red colour - and that engine - MMmmmmmm Thumbs Up!

Yep you're right enough there Pete and with the hatchback, a practical design.

Come to think of it, a lot of British engineered cars of that general era were well conceived, generally. Had the build quality been better and the manufacturing ethic more realistically applied, then perhaps some of those great names would have survived. Thumbs Up!
