Got a Garmin, it's been excellent.
Only trouble is it now needs updating......£60
Barely worth that SH, so will buy a cheap new replacement for just over £100 with up to date mapping.

None of the above.Pay the extra few quid and get 'PRONAV' as far as i know they r on offer at the moment from Maplins.I got TT and it aint that good,inaccurate postcode location & voice bailed out afta 2 month

Glad it worked for you. I now get "why is it sending us this way?", etc... In the end Mrs. KW ends up vetting directions from the Tom Tom before passing them on to me if she agrees with it. Grin That doesn't work too well when "pressing on", of course. Wink

I have a TomTom 930T and it is exellent, I have used it all over europe, last week I had to drive to the Czech republic to a village in the middle of nowhere and it found it no problems. and because it has the T it get's all the Traffic updates and finds new routes Thumbs Up!

I have had sony, and navman, both been trouble, now have garmin and touch wood no problems in a year, as said earlier in posts they are all much of a muchness luck of the draw really.

i too have garmin and have never had trouble, except for the voice of the woman, i didnt like being told, so i got the voice of micheal caine, hahaha Thumbs Up!
