Jag 2.5 V6

The bloke across the road has one which apparently the big ends have gone on it. We were chatting last night and asked if I knew anyone who knows anything about these Jag's as by loking at the underneath of the car to remove the sump, he says it seems you have to remove all the susspension, transferbox (as its 4 wheel drive) and god knows what else. Is he right or is there an easier way? Thumbs Up!

I'm assuming it's an x Type so... He's probably right. It's built on Mondeo running gear so anything is possible! Shocked Shocked Shocked Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Agreed. The big ends went for a reason after all. They don't just go in isolation on modern engines IMHO.
