I'm no great lover of 4x4s, but this statement is entirely illogical.

I am happy to give to charitys that i feel I want to support and that dont shove it in my face.

i was put off years ago when a report said that only 3% of money put in a Dr Banardo's box got to support the charity, whilst the rest went on Admin etc.

It's like these animal rescue places that advertise on TV saying sponser a dog and he will write and send pictures every month.  What a rip off, all the postage and TV advertising.  NO THANKS.

People that do fun runs and take part get my vote, like Miss Daisy on the 17th for examaple.  Given a good reason or a polite request I certainly dont have a problem.

But false advertising and shoving requests in my face hets no responce at all.
