URGENT HELP - fuel leak
03. Jun 2009 at 19:45

just filled up the tank ready to go on holiday and got home to find a pool of petrol on the drive!! Shocked

taken the access hatch off and seems to be a lot of petrol around the locking ring, is this a common failure / leak? Cry Undecided

see if ring will tighten slightly - they can work loose. But sounds like either the seal has gone (reasonably uncommon) or the fuel pipes have corrodedm and leaking out of plate (should be easy to tell

pipes coming out of top of pump are bone dry - ring is very tight so may take it off to have a better look  Undecided
