you may know how I like Minolta Digital Cameras, well I recently bought a faulty Dynax 5D hoping I could repair it. It looks as if it needs a new sensor, so I bought another one with supposedly shutter problems, thinking I could nick the sensor out of it. Well it arrived, and yes it wouldn't take photos at first, but after a bit of changing lenses and things, it started working, and has been for the last couple of days. I fitted a nice big CF card and started taking photos; I have taken 120 so far and its still working. Must have been a bit of crap on the lens sensor contacts, plus it was set to stop the shutter if the lens or CF card was not correct.

Its nice when you get a cracking camera for not a lot. My last good camera, a minolta A2 was bought as dead. I fitted a new, charged battery and its been working fine for the last 2-3 years.
