Facelift 2.2 DTi
18. Jul 2009 at 15:16

I have just bought a 2.2 DTI which I suspect has a faulty injector pump. I am charging the battery at the moment so won't know until tomorrow but i'm more than likely going to break the car. Its a Facelift in Star Silver so if you want any parts just ask. I also have being delivered and for sale in the next few days a Mini Facelift 3.0 Auto Elite Estate in gold with cream leather, Bose CCR800 and Factory Sat Nav and a Facelift CD 2.5 TD saloon in lovely condition and a manual box just ripe for a chip.

Hi Pete,

Might be interested in the ecu, key and transponder from around the ignition barrel if you are breaking.

My old DTi is still off the road and I might change these parts to see if I can get it back running.

Hi Pete,

Looking for a couple of parts - center arm rest (my clip has broke on mine). Pass/side dashboard part ( covers the side part when you open the door - I'll pm you a pic). Lower dash retaining plugs(pm pic again)
Battery bag

Plus - how's the turbo - mine is leaking oil from the compressor wheel on the intake(as the air sensor keeps getting caked in oil - unless its coming off the engine overflow and .. If that's the case unsure were the fault is).

Regards

Rob

Chances are its not the fuel pump (in reality it rarely is)

Its more often than not the injector seals, bleed off pipes or fuel filter housing.

Are these stealer only Mark or does the all knowing one know of a cheaper supplier?
