Jul 2009 at 23:20 If I'm having the heads - I will need the camshaft shells too mate Don't forget - the shells are matched to the heads (line bored) and not the cams... Anyone changing cams, would need to use their old shells

Lol - it's a common mistake, people often fit the shells from the car the cam's came from...

It's a recipe for disaster, and can cause damage quickly (Ask Kevin Wood, I think his mate snapped a camshaft Shocked

)

The shells are machined to the heads - any VX head is useless without the camshaft shells.... Thumbs Up!
