Help Please - Prop Shaft Removal
28. Jul 2009 at 20:29

Hi Guys

I'm attempting to replace the clutch on my 2.2 DTI 03 Plate. A few of the lads on here have given me loads of advice and I have read the Maintenance Guide on Clutch change.

I've got my parts, Car up and on stands and more stands Thumbs Up!

Now because of the pi***ng rain, I haven't be able to get stuck in yet, but I've had a gander underneath and the only thing that's puzzling me is how you get the Prop Shaft out of the way.

I can see the 3 bolts mention in the guide to disconnect from the Gearbox, but do I have to take the middle bearing out and disconnect at the Diff'? or am I missing something? Undecided Undecided

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hoping to get on with it in the morning.
If it Stops Flameing Raining!!! Angry

Cheers Thumbs Up!

Cheers.

Wondered that but it looks like it won't drop passed the gearbox crossmember and exhaust bracket.

Does It? Undecided
