Oct 2009 at 10:16 I thought that only V6 clocks went upto 160? The speedo should work ok but the rev counter will read false. Are you sure these are 4cyl clocks?

Yes, the rev counter will give an indication as its getting pulses, but it will probably only show 2/3's of the correct rpm.

I could be wrong on this, but did fit a 3.0 instrument panel to a 2.2 Sintra once and got exactly that effect, the speedo was fine, but the rev counter showed, for example, 2000 rpm when the engine was doing 3000.
