Just added a couple more to my list ---- of the ones I recall, 32 cars in the space of around 33 years. Not too good a retention rate !!!

Reminds me of my mini 1000.  It was the Fred Flintstone version, the floor started to fall out on a trip to Redditch.  Roll Eyes

LOL -- I remember one trip, from Worthing to Taunton, in the 850 cc mini:  Just this side of Salisbury the exhaust manifold split, taking the accelerator return spring with it. So I travelled the last part of the journey on full revs with effectively no exhaust system!!!

It might have been a simple, old fashioned, engine, but it survived (many modern blocks would have gone to engine heaven in short order).

For a few miles I had an 850 cc hot rod -- complete with real flames !!!!!
