Nov 2009 at 23:26 I was watching and noticed that he didn't when he was at the Cenotaph but did when Cameron was returning to his side after he had placed his wreath. It looked as if he had forgotton to do it and realised after the moment. Unforgivable.

Nov 2009 at 09:52 Just watched the ceremony on iPlayer and it was very moving. I think it's a very important part of our year and great to see so many leaders paying tribute. Maybe Gordon should be given an ASBO to stay away from Whitehall?

I'm certainly no fan of this disastrous and very dangerous politician, however on this occasion a mistake such as this is very easy to make.

He would have had a lot running through his mind at the time and a momentary lapse in concentration probably led to the gaffe.

If the mistake was recognised and apologised for then there's no great problem to consider in my view.

I don't think he meant it obviously & he has his uses in politics but he's no frontman as is becoming apparent.

........it must be difficult to be faced with two sets of arse-holes - in terms of the Scottish constituencies - to choose between at the general election D, but to consider voting for the present incumbents is surprising.

Haven't they had enough time to destroy the country without giving them more?
