Any one reccomend a good source for Fluorescent lights? This looks like the best so far @ £22.97

Think i would get 4 or 5 to light the garage.

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

I'd ask some Electrical Contractors if they knew of anyone who dealt in second hand ones.
I've lit several garages of mine in Scotland and Bedfordshire with ex factory fittings that were sourced from dealers who bought up and removed them from factories that were being demolished.
They refurbished and sold them for typically half price with new tubes.
Worth a try . Good luck.  Thumbs Up!

All mine came from the skip at work. But between being dragged out of the skip & a scrap chit being made out, all the internals had been replaced .......  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Unfortunately I have to buy my own tubes now  Cry

Not leccy ones, we are building a new brodcast building, other end of the site but its all fenced off, i can't get in, and its a brand new build. Don't think they would like me 'borrowing' tubes  Grin

It's not uncommon for firms to get an outside contractor in to replace tubes & fittings so it can all be done in one hit rather that a bit at a time, especially in food manufacture cos they don't want the possiblity of a tube getting broken while production is running.

Screfix thats a nice idea, ta!

I took a look, but tad confused (easily done  Roll Eyes)

Is this one fitting or 4? It suggests its 1 pack, containing 4 fitting racks.

Thing is no lamp included, no diffuser either. B&Q wanted £21 for slightly shorter one, but that came with diffuser and lamp  Undecided
