Nov 2009 at 14:42 I have just moved a file in my computer 479kb...........I moved it to to another folder...........it is now only 467kb.......... WHY?..........Does anybody know............It appears to be complete so why has it's size diminished?

Thanks Jimbob............the file is attached to an email and I can't access the properties on it. The file at 467kb has 479,232 bytes....they don't seem to match Thumbs Up!

On some systems it's 1024b, other times 1000b. So 479,232 / 1024 = 468. Dunno what happened to the other 1kb though. K
