Bad day with SWMBO

Not been a good day today. Had a family funeral yesterday and a good bun fight afterwards (ended up leaving my car behind Roll Eyes Roll Eyes) Anyway, meant SWMBO had to drop me off this morning to pick up the car.

She got up, disappeared into the kitchen to get herself a glass of water, which she promptly dropped, and then I heard an almighty crash as she slipped up and landed flat on her back!

Spent 4 hours at A&E, with her taped to the bed and immobilised even though we'd walked in (much against my better judgement... I wanted to call an ambulance but she refused Angry Angry) and having to have 2 sets of spinal x-rays!

She's OK... Badly bruised, shaken up and spaced out on painkillers but OK.

Trouble is........ She's not well enough to cook dinner so it's take away tonight Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

With my wife's cooking that would be a treat. Hope she feels better soon.
