I would gladly pay a yearly fee to the administrators of this site.

The advice, help and assistance they and everyone here provides is priceless.

Yes, if every one bought an item a year it soon adds up.

Like the cambelt CD's and if other CD's were created I am sure they would be good sellers.  Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

We don't want to go down a 2 tier membership - everyone equal here, if donations accepted, would they be 'more equal' than non-donators?

To clarify, tech2 money does not go towards forum - that goes to me personally (for the 3 tech2s I own).  One day, I'm hopeful that I may even break even on that, but not sure that will happen.

Forum was originally paid for by the cofounders, but is now covered by shop profits.

No plans to change the current setup...

I stand corrected TB... I knew the T2 fees were for the running of the units but I thought they helped towards the upkeep too Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

Anyway. You all do a grand job keeping it going, and an even better job for being able to keep it free Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

i joined a BMW GS forum for my bike, they operate the two tier membership, its not a good way. And for some unknown reason, you be come a 'Subscribed Tosser' on the there, once you pay up  Huh

Without paying, you can't PM people, or see the forsale sections.

The name for members is quite correct, as most of them are tossers, and the replies to simple questions are met with reply after reply of aggressive posting. Saw one where someone asked about taking panniers off at night when camping.

First reply 'are you serious?' second 'get this guy a f**ing coat' and so on.... utterly stupid!

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine
