After reading ljays tazer post i remembered a story i was told a few years ago whilst working for the nhs, driver from glasgow nhs told me this one,apparantly true......
A guy was having a bath when his wife starts screaming from the kitchen...
" George! George! the sinks leaking, hurry its flooding the floor!!"
George leaps out of the bath and rushes into the kithcen and sure enough theres water everywhere. He then hunkers down with his head under the sink while his wife searches in the cupboard for the toolbox. George is still hunkered there trying to stem the water when all of a sudden he screams in agony and bolts straight up, striking his head on the sink and knocks himself out.
His wife having heard the screams rushes back into the kitchen to see her husband lying unconcious, wet and naked on the kitchen floor.
She dials 999 and 10 mins later the ambulance men have George strapped into the trolley and set off. The lift in the block isnt working so they have to carry poor George downstairs.
"So what happened?" says one of the guys.
" The cat mustve seen his nuts hanging there as he was under the sink and thought they were a toy" says the wife.
The two ambulance men laugh so much they drop the trolley,with George still in it down the stairs and the poor guy suffers a broken leg!!
