Why, after working fine, will my computer stop working on links and right hand mouse button, ie copy, paste etc, everything else is fine Questioning

It means f**k all, because it isn't a driver issue if it works to a certain point.

Check for malware/spyware as a starting point, although I have yet to encounter malware/spyware that lets you work for X minutes before it shows itself.

The OP has stated the mouse works fine for X minutes, which means the mouse driver is fine.
If anything could possibly be to blame, the first port of call would be the mouse itself.

Good antivirus should be able to solve it.
Download avg (free) and make an update.
It will probably solve it
