That's polite speak for meaning you are 'a stroppy bugger'  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Guess I am lucky, get on with the doctor, Consultant and the Macmillan Nurses. Got invited to a 'Lunch' recently by my Consultant and managed to have a word with the CEO of the hospital on the behalf of some patients. Only wanted a water dispenser in the waining room, of a new unit, and I believe one is on it's way
Thumbs Up!

you smooth talker Mike , I don't think its because I'm stroppy i just don't hang on their every word like it was the word of God.
The long and the short of it is i had to see a very respected Doctor for a medical report, the catch was that he'd been treating me for a while and we'd built up a fairly good rapour ,so i thought .Anyway my copy of the report arrived and he said all sorts of nasty things and that he'd been treating me
because he had too and there was nothing wrong with me . I took him to task over it at at my next appointment ,only to be told the people who paid for the report told him to discredit me and for the price of £1250 and the promise of more referrals he did.

Not sure I follow this, who asked him for a report, sounds like DLA/Benefits or Insurance company?

Sorry Mike should have been clearer . i had a crash and the other parties insurers hired a firm of solicitors who intern hired my own Doctor to compile a medical report on me . On the one hand he was telling me how bad i was and I'd never be able to do this that and the other you know the story Then in the other hand he contradicting himself (for the money) saying i was a liar
and whatever i did or said was a total fabrication and i should have been on the mend years ago

I believe you have been screwed - when i was injured in a crash i had 2 reports - 1 from my insurance appointed quack & 1  from their appointed quack, it then went to a harley street quack for a final decision.

I would report your quack to the BMA for that behaviour Angry

I can't say really, sounds fishy to me. I would have thought an insurance company would have used an independent medical person to do any report, assuming it is for some form of compensation.  I can not think of my GP telling any lies to get more private business. My condition, though having many general symptoms, can differ, in the detail, from individual to individual, and indeed from day to day. So generalised reports should not be written or degree of disability judged. Talking in work today, not been too good, again Cry but when I am well I am well and more than able to hold my own in the workplace.

I can't see how your GP can be treating you for something and then deny it's existence in a medical report, it could however be written in a way that may 'lean' one way or another for Court / Compensation, or, report wise he may be sitting on the fence.  Without knowing much more and seeing the report I don't think I can say much more.
