front wing removal

hi i need to change the front wing on my 1996 gls saloon .does anyone know how bad a job this is.

just bumper off light out undo bolts, take wheel off undo the plastic wheel arch, undo the bolts, may need to pop the spot weld near the A frame if it was welded, then have to put flat screw driver in the gaps to pull off the wing as tere is sealent inbetween the wing and fame. Thumbs Up!

I took one off six months ago and I'm sure my bumper stayed on.

Is there a weld?

There's a bolt/self tapper at the bottom of the A post that's visable when you open the door.

i didnt with the four ive removed. Huh

mine has strutes from wing to the bumper, held on by 2 10m bolts, and there is 2 spot welds on A frame 3inc apart holding the wing on on both sides.
