a cautious no. Well fairly sure tbh. When ordering my rip off vx cat back system, they gave me a mid section from an estate by mistake. Cant see how estate box would fit a saloon by the angle the pipes enter the box.

I thought the mounts were in a different place? Why do they offer a choice for saloon and estate if they are the same?

You're right Dave, the 3.2 backbox will fit the 2.2 and 2.6...as you correctly remember I fitted a 3.2 backbox to my 2.2.
However, the estate and saloon backboxes are different. So you can't put an estate backbox on a saloon or the vice versa.

Er...... Oh bugger it.

No their not. Differant.

There, said it. Have disagreed with the master.

Unless my dealer gave me one from a saloon and one from an Estate from another car? They gave me an Estate centre section by mistake so have seen, what a beleive to be both, side by side. The pipes enter the rear box at a very differant angle.
Provided the parts dept told me correctly of course.
Part no was Estate of some sort anyway.
