Did you pay for sensors? If so i would be asking for some money back.

New pads need time to 'bed in' so you have to take it easy for a few miles, 2 - 3 days depends how far you go

All pads come without sensors, sensors are a seperate item that are fitted to the spring clip on the pads. The warning message appears when the plastic clip wears through and the circuit is broken. New sensors will cure the warning, it doesn't require to be 'reset' ....... or you can chop the remnants off, bare back some insulation and short the 2 wires together.  That will sort the light/message out!
