Well what else do you do in Blackpool in the Winter(or Summer!!) Grin

no trams running lizzie, all dead up here. they are re-laying the lines down south shore.
i soon went inside to see X factor & consummed several pints Thumbs Up!

What!!

I would really be upset if I had travelled all the way to Blackpool to find no trams running! Cry

Now I know this country is falling apart!!! Roll Eyes

No Blackpool trams, is like saying no red London buses are running!! Shocked

False advertising I say!! Sad

Still, if the drink is good, and X Factor is on, I suppose who cares.... Grin

i know what a let down. they are doing some major imrovements though down the prom, all new rails,overheads,poles & the lot really. starting to look very nice down the prom now.
but tbh i only went to give my folks a new tv b4 christmas. both 80 & couldnt bear the thought of not having a box to see over the festive period.

Yes, they must be spending millions on all that new flood defence and exntended prom. I saw what had been built up to then in September 2008 and it was impressive! Cool
