So to summarize then.

Thailand:, political instability, Terrorism is a concern, petty thieves and scam artists. Malaysia:, multicultural and multi-ethnic nation, terrorism remains a concern, petty crimes, scams and credit card fraud, risk from kidnapping. Hong Kong:, a few security concerns, petty street crime do occur, possibility of violence, cases of influenza A (H1N1)/swine flu.

So in a Nut Shell, same as London, only safer, cheaper and warmer.  Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

How true, but not sure if their still Goverment owned anymore, I have flown with them a few time in the past, must admit probably rate them more over BA.

More leg room, better food, and I rekon their English is better than BA.  Grin
