xmas song- bankers aid

It's Christmas time
There's no need to be afraid
At Christmas time
We're rich again thanks to public aid
And in our world of plenty
Gonna keep it for ourselves
Show the finger to the world
At Christmas time

So the taxpayer
Can pay for our other perks
At Christmas time it's hard without a brand new Merc
There's a world outside your window but we couldn't give a toss
Cos' we got a great big bonus
Even though we made a loss
And the only bells we'll hear
Are the chiming of our tills
Well tonight thank god it's you
Who pays the bills

And there won't be any gratitude this Christmas time
The greatest gift you'll get from us is strife
There's nothing we will lend
No credit to extend
Do we loan this christmas time? Hell no!

Cash for us cos' we think we are so great
Cash for you at a sky high interest rate
Do we lend this Christmas time? Hell no!

Bleed the world
Let them know it's bonus time
(Repeat to fade)

about right that

I prefer this to the eighties original Richie.....the destitute bankers are far more deserving of our sympathy and money...and I'am not being flippant.......I really mean it. Honest. Grin Grin Grin Wink Thumbs Up!
