Don't you think
16. Dec 2009 at 19:50

That Vauxhall putting the 3.0 diesel engine in the omega would've been a good move? I was thinking earlier whilst reading on the Saab forums, the 3.0 is a Vx engine according to the guys on there (pretty sure it is too), why didn't they put this in would've made a lot of sense don't you think.

It's got good power, sort of reliable and I think would've made perfect sense for a big exec car like the Mig. Robsey thats a better idea mate  Thumbs Up!

I'm not sure how reliable it is, I really don't know much about the engine. However, The Metropolitan Police service operate as part of thier fleet 3.0 V6 CDTI Vectra's. And the amount that came through auction one time as non runners with engine issues was unbelievable. Of course you can get that with all cars, but it was obvious there was something wrong. There were 4 a month for 3 months or so all coming through as non runners. And there is no other vehicle I've seen with that frequency come through as non runners.

BMW 3.0 Diesel would be more sensible and easier to fit

Still love the mig mate as i think you get alot of car for the money, althought monaro is the toy to have, sadly got it wrong time of year as 590nm of output to rear wheels is way to much to hold on the roads in this weather  Sad
very load wortec runing gear fitted and is kicking out just under the 500 BHP mark.
