IMHO, it depends how deep you want to go into things...

The 3.0V6 is a decent lump (from what I've heard).

But, would it ever have come about if the Omega was still in production?

It's a modern lump for a modern world, where the powers that be (for now - hopefully!!) are trying to push us into eco-wagons by daft taxation. And the car-makers are trying to pander to this, by producing said engines.

I was about to go into a significant rant, hinging on climate change propogander and the relative taxtion benefits, but I won't!

Long story short - nice engine, but shame about it's development reasoning.

Petrol (in retaliation) all the way for me.
